Savard, Dean

Savard (1958-19990) was an artist and gallerist. With Alan Barrows, he opened Civilian Warfare Studio in 1982, where Wojnarowicz showed until 1984. The three traveled together occasionally, including a trip to Europe in 1983. Savard died of complications related to AIDS on March 30, 1990.
