Lupetin was the producer for the 1990 film Silence=Death, an examination of the AIDS crisis through the lives of gay male artists that was directed by Rosa Von Praunheim, and which featured Wojnarowicz. Wojnarowicz was interviewed for the film, and he also contributed a 4 minute short film piece derived from some of the footage he filmed in Mexico in 1986 (see A Fire in My Belly case study).
