Description
This is a diagrammatic representation of all the data in the JJKB, which were uploaded to Wikidata. The image highlights the links among custom items created specifically for the JJKB dataset, generic items already existing in Wikidata, and the range of properties used to create the links. The map is meant to be used as a tool for those looking to create their own queries into the dataset by providing explicit QIDs and PIDs for specific and generic items, as well as properties in the dataset. ‘Specific items’ in the map refer to items such as the Wikidata records for the artworks Mirage and Organic Honey. ‘Generic items’ refer to items such as the Wikidata records for video, projection, performance art, and many more. ‘Variable items’ refer to individual instantiations of Mirage or Organic Honey, venues, exhibitions, etc. Variable item QIDs are not included in the map, since these can be discovered by querying the relationships between the specific and generic items in the dataset. The map further makes explicit where multiple values are applicable to which contexts as AND / OR type of relationships.
